Grandiose Delusions
The belief that he is a celebrity on every magazine cover is patently false, as well as being fixed – he reacts angrily when the evidence for his belief is questioned. Grandiose delusions are by definition a psychotic symptom of severe mania. They can be described as being “mood-congruent”, ie they mirror the person’s happy & optimistic mood.
