The Confidence Interval Analysis software (CIA) will calculate confidence intervals for various statistical techniques. The software can be used in conjunction with lectures on Confidence Intervals or using the book Statistics with Confidence which is available from the Library.

The software is available for use on Public workstations and can be loaded on your own computer

When you download the software, a single file, ciatimelimitedsetup.exe (7.2Mb), will be saved to your computer to the folder you specify.
Run the program ciatimelimitedsetup.exe and CIA will start the installation process.
Note: This is a time limited version of the software. It will expire on 30th September 2014.
If you have a security protection product installed (e.g. Norton), you may find this prevents the SETUP programme from running. The solution to this is to disconnect from the Internet, disable the security protection, install CIA, re-enable the security protection.
