Statistics for the Terrified is a common-sense basic guide to statistics, written in plain english with a minimum of mathematics (very little!). The authors claim that it makes statistics open to common sense and we agree with their novel way of presenting medical statistics.

Installing Statistics for the Terrified
The software download is not working at the moment, so get the file FROM HERE
You can download the material for home use (only PCs) from www.software.soton.ac.uk . You will need to use the VPN system to do this from home. You can also access it from Public Workstations from the Your School software | Medicine menu.
- Download the file s4t62_sotonF_setup.exe, and save this to your machine.
- Run s4t62_sotonF_setup.exe. The installation for Statistics for the Terrified will begin.
- Click Next >, then Install.
- Select Finish when done.
Statistics for the Terrified will be found in the Concept Stew Ltd group on the Start Menu.
The license for this sofware is valid till 20th September 2015.
