What parents and carers need to learn
As described in page 4, you should teach parents and carers:

• foods rich in energy and key nutrients;
• foods that make good mixtures for children.

Although it may not be you who will discuss these topics with parents and carers of children with SAM, it is important that you have this knowledge. Let’s test your understanding of them.
