In this Unit, you have learnt about the integrated approach to management and the criteria for determining an appropriate management option for SAM children. You have also learnt what CMAM is, its principles and components. In Sections 3 and 4 you have looked at SFP (one of the CMAM components) and RUTF with its ingredients and advantages. Lastly, you have revisited hospital-based management in relation to the 10 steps.

Take a couple of minutes to think about the integrated approach to malnutrition management and within the approach identify what you will do and who you will work with.
