Introduction
As you have learnt in Unit 1, you use weight-for age, weight-for-height,
height-for-age, and MUAC to assess malnutrition. Therefore, it is important
to know how to take measurements of the height/length, weight and MUAC
of children correctly to assess a child’s nutritional status. In this
unit, you will learn how to take these measurements.
